

Our Story

The Chef
Jim Cook (yes, that's really his last name) is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He is trained in classical French cuisine but enjoys preparing dishes ranging from barbecue to duck confit. Jim offers over 25 years of experience in preparing food safely and creatively for a wide range of events. Colleagues and customers respect Jim for his reliability, friendly manner, and delicious food. Jim is active in his community and volunteers for not-for-profit boards, fundraising events, and scholarship organizations.

The Cooks
The Cooks are also known as Jim's family of four. The Cooks have lived in Glenville for 16 years. 4 Cooks and a Chef is a small, family-owned, local business--these values are reflected in 4 Cooks and a Chef catering.
